**Job Title: Secondary Geography Teacher**

**Location**: EuroSchool - HSR,Bangalore

**Position Summary**:
The Secondary Geography Teacher at EuroSchool - HSR will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in geography to students in the secondary grades. The teacher will develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and create a supportive learning environment conducive to academic success. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree is mandatory for this position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development**: Develop and implement a comprehensive and standards-aligned geography curriculum for secondary students, incorporating relevant content, concepts, and skills.
- **Instructional Delivery**: Deliver effective and engaging geography instruction using a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technology tools to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**: Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, including quizzes, tests, projects, and fieldwork.
- **Differentiated Instruction**: Differentiate instruction to accommodate students with varying learning styles, abilities, and interests, providing additional support or enrichment as needed.
- **Classroom Management**: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn geography.
- **Integration of Technology**: Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning and engagement, utilizing digital resources, interactive maps, and geographic information systems (GIS).
- **Fieldwork and Experiential Learning**: Organize and facilitate field trips, outdoor activities, and experiential learning opportunities to enhance students' understanding of geographic concepts and phenomena.
- **Professional Development**: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in geography education, instructional strategies, and technology integration.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of [X] years of teaching experience in geography instruction, preferably at the secondary level.
- Strong content knowledge in geography, including physical geography, human geography, and geographical skills.
- Effective instructional skills and the ability to engage and motivate students in the learning process.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practice.

**Salary**: From ₹40,000.00 per month
