CNC Grinder

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up cylindrical grinding machines by selecting and installing appropriate grinding wheels, fixtures, and attachments according to job specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine grinding requirements, tolerances, and dimensions.
- Load and unload workpieces onto grinding machines manually or using lifting equipment, ensuring proper alignment and securing of workpieces.
- Adjust machine controls, such as wheel speed, feed rates, and coolant flow, to achieve desired grinding outcomes and maintain specified tolerances.
- Monitor machine operations to detect deviations from specifications, such as excessive vibration, abnormal noises, or irregularities in surface finish.
- Measure and inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings and tooling to correct deviations and ensure consistent quality and accuracy of finished products.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on grinding machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts as needed.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate PPE and following lockout/tagout procedures when performing maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced, scrap rates, and machine downtime, to support performance tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to optimize production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; vocational training or certification in machining or precision engineering preferred.
- Proven experience operating cylindrical grinding machines in a manufacturing or machining environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles, tooling, and grinding techniques.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work with mínimal errors.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions and deviations from specifications.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to machine operation and maintenance.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as required.

Pay: ₹15,900.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
