**Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers as they enter and exit the store.
- Provide information and answer queries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- **Transaction Handling**:

- Operate the cash register, handling all cash, credit card, and digital wallet transactions.
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and change to customers.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Scan and bag items efficiently and correctly.
- Keep track of cash drawer amounts and report discrepancies to management.
- Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining store inventory.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Ensure the cash counter and surrounding area are tidy and presentable.
- Follow all store safety and security procedures.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports as required.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Address customer complaints and escalate issues to the store manager if necessary.
- Promote and suggest additional products or services to customers.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional qualifications in retail or business management are a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, such as cash registers and POS systems.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in handling digital payment methods.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Honest, reliable, and punctual.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

**Additional Information**:

- **Work Environment**: This role typically requires standing for long periods and involves interaction with various customers daily.
- **Training**: On-the-job training is provided, covering store policies, cash handling procedures, and customer service techniques.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
