### Position Title: Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Specialist

### Job Summary:
### Key Responsibilities:
1. **Production Management**:

- Oversee and manage the PET production process, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Monitor and control production parameters to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Implement and optimize production schedules to meet demand and minimize downtime.

2. **Quality Control**:

- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure PET products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials and finished products.
- Identify and troubleshoot quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.

3. **Research and Development**:

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in polymer science and incorporate relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and improve product offerings.

4. **Process Optimization**:

- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct process trials and validate changes before full-scale implementation.

5. **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for production staff.
- Maintain documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

6. **Technical Support**:

- Provide technical support to the sales and marketing teams, including product demonstrations and customer consultations.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints regarding product performance and quality.
- Develop technical literature and presentations to support product knowledge.

### Qualifications:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PET production or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality control and process optimization in a manufacturing environment.
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of polymer chemistry and PET production processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in using manufacturing and quality control software.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Certifications**:

- Relevant certifications in polymer science, quality control, or manufacturing processes are a plus.

### Working Conditions:

- This role is primarily based in a manufacturing setting, which may involve exposure to high temperatures, chemicals, and noise.
- The position may require occasional travel to customer sites, conferences, and industry events.

### Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking around the production floor.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
