Profile Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Continental cuisine according to recipes and specifications.
- Execute assigned tasks efficiently during food preparation, ensuring timely completion of orders.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Handle and store food items in accordance with food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and monitoring of ingredient freshness.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Collaborate with other members of the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and service.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen staff regarding food production and any issues that may arise.
- Uphold a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Assist with special events, banquets, and catering functions as required.
- Continuously strive to improve culinary skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including grooming standards and uniform guidelines.
Profile Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a Continental cuisine-focused role.
- Formal culinary training or relevant certification from a culinary institute is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, ingredients, and recipes.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality dishes.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
