**Internship Overview**

We are seeking final year bachelor's or master's students majoring in Counseling and Industrial Organisational Psychology to join our team as interns. The interns will play a crucial role in fostering effective communication, hard negotiation skills, facilitating large customer engagement, client relationship building, boosting team morale, and resolving conflicts both internally and externally. They will engage with vendors to onboard them with FoodNEST(S) Technologies and facilitate smooth interactions with customers and vendors to enhance overall profitability and sales.

This internship comes with a PPO(Pre-Placement Offer) based on your exceptional performance during internship. You have a chance to be a full time employee with our startup

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Effective Communication**:

- Utilise communication skills to convey ideas, negotiate deals, and build rapport with team members, customers, and external vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear and timely communication of objectives, strategies, and initiatives.

**2. Strong Negotiation**:

- Engage in negotiation processes with new F&B vendors to onboard them with FoodNEST(S) platform.
- Develop negotiation strategies to maximise profitability and mutually beneficial outcomes for FoodNEST(S), customers and vendors.
- Target and convert the institutional clients for establishing business and building relationships

**3. Team Building**:

- Help in identifying the potential team members to be the part of our team
- Conduct fitment analysis on multiple scales such as team spirit, attitude, soft skills, etc.
- Organise team-building activities, workshops, or training sessions to enhance team morale, cohesion, and motivation.
- Provide support and encouragement to team members to boost confidence and foster a positive work environment.

**4. Vendor Engagement**:

- Act as a liaison between FoodNEST(S) Technologies and new F&B vendors, introducing them to the company's technology landscape and benefits.
- Address vendor concerns, provide demonstrations, and facilitate the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition and integration.

**5. Conflict Resolution**:

- Proactively identify and address conflicts arising from internal or external parties, including customers, vendors, stakeholders or team members.
- Help to define and refine conflict resolution strategies and policies for all stakeholders
- Implement conflict resolution strategies to de-escalate tensions, find mutually satisfactory resolutions, and preserve relationships.
- Drawing on industrial and counselling psychology, develop strategies for managing conflicts or disagreements that may arise during negotiations. This involves identifying underlying concerns, finding common ground, and facilitating mutually beneficial resolutions to maintain positive relationships.

**6. Understanding Customer Psychology**:

- Utilise principles of industrial psychology to analyse customer behaviour, preferences, and decision-making processes.
- This understanding can inform negotiation strategies by tailoring offers and incentives that align with customer motivations and desires.

**7. Effective Communication**:

- Foster positive interactions with customers and vendors, establishing a conducive atmosphere for negotiation and conversions.

**8. Strategic Planning**:

- This strategic insight can inform negotiation tactics, such as positioning the company's offerings competitively and anticipating potential objections or obstacles in the negotiation process.

**9. Negotiation Skills Training**:

- Provide training and development opportunities for employees to enhance their negotiation skills.
- Drawing on industrial psychology research and techniques, offer workshops or coaching sessions focused on effective negotiation strategies, persuasive communication, and problem-solving skills.

**10. Feedback and Evaluation**:

- Implement systems for providing constructive feedback and performance evaluation regarding negotiation outcomes.
- Utilize principles of industrial psychology to assess negotiation effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and tailor training or coaching interventions accordingly

**11. Stress Management**:

- Incorporate techniques from industrial psychology to help employees manage stress and maintain composure during high-pressure negotiation situations.
- This may include mindfulness practices, stress-reduction techniques, or cognitive-behavioural strategies to mitigate anxiety and enhance performance.

**12. Ethical Considerations**:

- Emphasise the importance of ethical conduct in negotiations, aligning with principles of industrial-organisational psychology that prioritise fairness, honesty, and integrity in business interactions.
- Ensure employees understand ethical guidelines and are equipped to navigate ethical dilemmas that may arise during negotiations.
