**Requirements**:
**EXPERIENCE**:The position requires three years of experience in acquisitions/collection development in a university, library, research institute, or publishing house.

**Education Requirements**:
The position requires successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in the Humanities or Sciences.

**Level 1, Basic**:

- Examples: Basic greetings, phrases, numbers and signs.

**Level 2, Limited**:

- Examples: Directions, simple questions

**Level 3, Good working knowledge**:

- Examples: Conversations about familiar topics, complex documents

**Level 4, Fluent**:

- Examples: Infer nuanced meaning from complex documents

**Level 5, Translator**:

- Examples: Certified professional translator in this language

**Evaluations**:
**LANGUAGE**:
**Level 4 (Fluent)** in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required. This may be tested.**

**AND**

**Level 2 (Limited) in Hindi (Speaking) is required.**

**AND**

**Level 2 (Limited) Speaking in one of the following languages: Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, or Urdu.**

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time the conditional offer letter is issued by the HR Office.
