**Our Exciting Opportunity**

We are now looking for an Data Scientist who Lead projects/Programs either as a project/program manager or technical coordinator. Improve data science WoW and leadership. Develop processes and methodologies for envisioning data science as a practice

**You Will**:

- Be a coach for other Data Scientists. Lead and direct a team of data scientists and engineers
- Define data product strategy and roadmap. Set the project program/project portfolio
- Understand the Data Science process and ways of working
- Participate in understanding and brainstorming a business scenario and available data to arrive at a hypothesis. Use case creation from data.
- Lead/Drive creation of business scenarios and available data to arrive at hypothesis. Use case creation from data, understand the architectural impacts of proposed use cases.
- Scope and identify success criteria and inputs needed for the analysis.
- Data sources and approaches for wrangling data and creation of data pipelines
- Analyze and recommend design considerations for scalability, performance, streaming, and algorithmic complexity of the solution components
- Explore the data in tandem with business owners to find probable features and further needs of inputs
- Experiment design and approach for the analytical solution under supervision
- Experiment design and approach for analytical solution
- Specifying techniques for validation and ensuring repeatability in results
- Practice data science using state-of-the-art methods. Create, review, publish approaches for problem-solving, resultant models, outputs, and opportunities for further research
- Document the Research results in reports, presentations, publications and standardization contributions.
- Initiate and secure transfer of competence and technical results from the work executed to operational business systems
- Understand available data infrastructure, ability to use state-of-the-art tools in data science.
- Introduce new employees to available data infrastructure. Coach others to improve data science experiments to fully utilize available resources.
- Investigate and explore new possibilities in data science infrastructure and tools
- Participate in the evolution of data science infrastructure and tools for Ericsson Data Science environments
- Drive the evolution of data infrastructure and tools for Ericsson Data Science environments. Contribute to cross Ericsson data infrastructure initiatives
- Drive cross Ericsson data infrastructure initiatives
- Understand data science process and ability to implement end to end data science solutions
- Drive data science processes and coach others in implementing end to end data science solutions
- Participate in backlog prioritization discussions. Enhance data collection procedures relevant for building analytics solutions
- Liaise with stakeholders on their data science roadmaps
- Influence stakeholders to integrate insights into operational processes or products

**To be successful in the role you are**
- Bachelors with 5 + years of relevant experience OR Masters with > 3 years of relevant experience OR Ph.D. in Comp Science/Statistics/Mathematics with > 1 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Analyzing Complex Problems and translate it into data science algorithms
- Experience in machine learning supervised and unsupervised: Forecasting, Classification, Data/Text Mining, NLP, Decision Trees, Adaptive Decision Algorithms, Random Forest, Search Algorithms, Neural Networks, Deep Learning Algorithms
- Experience in statistical learning: Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics, Web Analytics, Parametric and Non-parametric models, Regression, Time Series, Dynamic/Causal Model, Statistical Learning, Guided Decisions, Topic Modeling
- Experience with big data analytics - identifying trends, patterns, and outliers in large volumes of data
- Ability to write robust code in Python, PySpark
- Kubernetes, Docker, Spark
- Casandra, Postgres and query building
- Design Principles, Application development, Flask, RESTful API,
- ** Familiarity with GCP, Real time data ingestion**:

- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
- Propose data science solutions, EDA, Model Prototyping, Visualization of the data, Interpretation of the data, results based on the requirement analysis
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Lead role mentoring multiple Jr. Analysts on approach and results.
- Experience with Teradata, SQL and relational databases, data warehouse
