**Position Description**

**Purpose**

Provide financial leadership to the operations teams to drive better business results and operating
_efficiencies._

**Dimensions**
Responsible for the financial control activities, inventory control (small material, raw material, work-in progress, finished goods), stock audits, inventory reconciliations and process collaboration with Production Logistics, D&IT of GTO

**Accountabilities/Responsibilities**
- Ensure the preparation of timely, accurate and relevant financial reports to facilitate understanding and analysis of the business and business opportunities.
- Responsible for the initiation and maintenance of inventory controls, policies, standard procedures and systems to achieve accurate financial inventory information. Responsible for inventory data integrity and accuracy.
- Responsible for following up with Production Logistics for Customs administration and compliance
- Assists Plant controller in facilitating the timely closure of statutory, Internal and other periodic _audits._
- Challenges the status quo by developing and recommending modification to existing processes and methodologies with a constant focus on continuous improvement plant inventory processes.
- Performs comprehensive analysis of inventory transactions to identify problems, recommend solutions, drive implementation of improved practices, tools and policies.
- Develops and maintains cycle count activity, by providing counting instructions, overseeing reconciliation of daily counting activity and investigating the variance reporting done by warehouse team.
- Conduct the yearly stock audits and conduct/supervise the perpetual stock audits.
- Maintains the RCA log and secure respective managers initiate corrective and preventive actions.
- Be the first approver for the adjustment requests made by warehouse manager for scrapping or excess/obsolete stock and give his comments and recommendation for next level approver/s.
- Create and maintain inventory models to assist in decision-making _process._
- Participates in daily operation meetings, monthly program/capacity _meetings._
- Has the authority to stop production when non conformation of the process flows is detected.
- Support to drive system discipline for site and secure data integrity thereby resulting in minimum time being spent by business control department in getting the figures correct.
- Assisting Department Head with periodic reporting of evidence of security issues or fraud or repeated errors caused by user negligence, indiscipline or insufficient training.
- Performs extensive analysis of inventory transactions and reports to identify process and system training deficiencies.
- Establishes partnership with all departments to build inventory accuracy, standard procedures, controls, practices and systems.
- Support the company’s system transformation/ implementation initiative.
- Participate in Business Validation and acceptance test of new releases of the system.
- Secure that all changes are communicated to the end-users in business control & train them accordingly.
- Assist in establishing new training material and update existing procedures and routines on how to use the system.
- Responsible for collecting and forwarding feedback on implemented changes from end-users to the system owner.
- Support in Digitalization initiatives by upgrading the exiting processes using latest technologies (Power Query, Power BI, Power Apps, SAP S4 HANA).

**Authorities**
- Administrative Authority for reviewing all modules of Truck Master (SAP)
- Administrative authority for requesting IS/IT _modifications._
- Review authority of EBD, Investments team place, GPS, SICA and Reman Quest _system._
- SCORE Key User for India

**Additional Information**
- Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP, corporate finance, accounting, taxation, manufacturing process flow, manufacturing costing principles—understands P&L and balance sheet _dynamics._
- Manufacturing experience is a must. Experience in Supply Chain Mgt is an added advantage.
- ERP experience is a must in PP, MM, FI, CO & SD.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimum oversight and has a track record of meeting deadlines. Flexibility to take on a wide variety of topics and _tasks._
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others, build relationships and manage conflicts, both internal and external; recognizes the importance of networking and a positive working relationship; willingness to learn and share knowledge; values the diversity of _ideas._
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; capable of formal and informal discussions and presentations at all levels of the business - internal and external; has a professional _presence._
- Strong MS office, Power Query, Power BI & Power Apps is preferred.
