Account Payable Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and accurately process invoices received from vendors and suppliers, ensuring all required documentation and approvals are in place.
- Billing and Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- TDR Management: Knowledge and understanding of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) regulations. Ensure accurate TDS deductions, timely deposit, and filing of TDS returns.
- Vendor Management: Maintain effective communication with vendors regarding billing, payments, and dispute resolution. Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding items.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable, including aging reports, expense analysis, and other ad-hoc reports as required.
- Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and external regulations. Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information related to accounts payable processes.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve accounts payable processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, finance, and treasury, to ensure seamless end-to-end procure-to-pay processes.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Solid understanding of invoice processing, billing, GST, TDR, and taxation regulations.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
