**THE ROLE**:Cloud Architect Azure**

**Responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of front-line service and support to internal and external customers.
- Cloud Infrastructure, Automation, CI/CD - Ability to design and understand the architecture, own the implementation, delivery, and lifecycle automation for SaaS services.
- Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
- Ability to guide the team through technical issues and challenges
- Work with the team and enforce the best development and DevOps practice is followed
- Responsible for maintaining the technical documentation for the project deliverables and also for the customer handover
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Certain engagements will require you to support and maintain existing cloud environments with an emphasis on continuously innovating through automation and enhancing stability/availability through monitoring and improving the security posture

**_Technical skills:_**
- Automation: Background in Infrastructure-As-Code using one or more of the following - Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure ARM, etc.
- Scripting: Strong in one or more of the following - Shell Scripting, Python, Ruby, Golang, etc.
- Public Cloud: Strong in one or more of the leading public cloud platform - AWS, Azure, or GCP
- CI/CD: Strong in one or more of the following tools - Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Cloud Security: Should have the knowledge of various security tools available in the public cloud and their usage

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Around 7 - 10 years of Cloud, DevOps, and Automation experience
- At least 5 years of strong public/private cloud experience
