- We are searching for a **Production Superintendent - Initiating systems **to join our team at** Gomia MFG center, **will oversees the shift-based production team with responsibility for meeting the daily, weekly and monthly production plans to ensure quality product is available as required to satisfy the S&OP and assumes overall accountability for operations at the facility. This position will report to Senior SuperIntedent.**What you will be doing**
- Lead the shift-based production teams of operators and will be the direct line manager for the production operators
- Ensure that safety, health, and environmental procedures are adhered in respective area
- Ensure the product produced meets the quality and volume requirements daily, weekly and monthly
- Respond to and communicate deviations from production plans (including plant stoppage notification updates/timelines)
- Provide support outside of business hours as per the on-call roster to be the first point of contact for the respective area
- Provides the necessary permit to work to allow the safe and efficient execution of the daily maintenance plan (including shutdowns)
- Lead investigation on process-related issues and safety-related incidents, and support implementation of solutions
- Support Sr. Superintendent by executing delegated tasks on timely manner

**What you will bring**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, technical degree (Mechanical / Chemical)
- A total of 3-5 years or similar experience in operational roles in the manufacturing or transport/distribution sectors
- A sound technical understanding of discrete manufacturing process
- Ability to build the trust of others both internally and externally
- Show courage to make decisions, yet is patient to make the right ones
- Model resilience and flexibility and adapt well to new circumstances and adversity
- Demonstrate a bias to working in a team-oriented fashion, supporting others’ success
