Culinary Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Culinary Teacher to join our school faculty. The Culinary Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging culinary arts curriculum to students, fostering a love for cooking, and providing hands-on instruction in culinary techniques and kitchen safety.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive culinary arts curriculum aligned with educational standards and learning objectives.
- Plan and organize lessons that incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including demonstrations, hands-on cooking activities, and group projects.
- Teach students fundamental culinary techniques, including knife skills, food preparation, cooking methods, and plating presentation.
- Provide instruction on kitchen safety, sanitation practices, and proper use of culinary equipment.
- Introduce students to various cuisines, ingredients, and culinary traditions from around the world.
- Supervise and assist students during cooking labs and practical sessions, offering guidance and feedback to support their skill development.
- Assess student learning through assignments, projects, quizzes, and practical assessments, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Maintain a well-equipped and organized culinary classroom, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate culinary education into interdisciplinary projects and school events.
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in the culinary industry, incorporating new ideas and techniques into the curriculum as appropriate.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience working as a chef, culinary instructor, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching, with a passion for inspiring students to explore their culinary talents.
- Patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students.

**Salary**: 18k to 25K in hand

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
