Associate - I, Leverage Finance - Nuveen Global Investment Operations

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete various loan administration tasks, including trade processing, loan reconciliations, and trade settlement.
- Assist Trustees, Loan Administrators, Legal, Tax, and Compliance with regards to trade confirmations, allocations, KYC documentation, settlements, metrics, and industry initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with traders/business partners at all levels and build strong working relationships
- Support the settlement process of loan syndications, secondary loan trades, CLOs, and restructures, including funding and documentation matters.
- Research and respond to ad-hoc inquiries on discrepancies - position breaks, price
- Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements
- Reconciliation in BBG Aim for Bank loans & Leverage Loans.
- Work directly with IT or vendors to resolve any technical issues
- Ensure all process and audit trail documentation is always up to date
- Coordinate preventive and corrective actions with appropriate teams
- Train and coach peer team members
- Perform yearly SOP review and process documents.
- Conduct process enhancement forums within team.

Educational Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience
- 2+ Years Required; 3+ Years Preferred

Physical Requirements
- Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Required Experience:
6+ years
- Leverage Loan/CLO, Income Processing, Rollover, Roll back, Loan Restructure
- Investment Banking and/or Asset Management industry experience in an off shored operations environment
- Experience in one or more of the following operational processes: Trade and transaction processing
- Knowledge of the Financial Services
- Knowledge of bank loan market and Load Trade Life Cycle

Experience, Skills and Abilities:

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to understand complex workflows
- Good understanding of operational risks and controls
- Team player, detail oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Self-starter with a high level of energy
- Proficient utilization of Microsoft Excel and other MS OFFICE products
- Very good communication skills, written and verbal Team player
- Prioritization skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to identify and escalate process/delivery risks

Preferred Skills:
Experience with, S&P Notice Manager, Trade Processing Systems: (Bloomberg AIM, Clear Par, Wall Street Office Admin & Web)
