As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as an Accounts Executive.

**Job Description**:
As an Accounts Executive at Orchids, you will be responsible for supporting various financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while adhering to established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
**Accounts Payable**: Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payment. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.

**Accounts Receivable**: Generate customer invoices, track receivables, and follow up on overdue payments. Maintain accurate records of transactions and collections.

**Payroll Processing**: Assist with payroll processing, including calculations, deductions, and statutory compliance. Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of salaries and benefits.

**Financial Reporting**: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.

**Bank Reconciliation**: Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flows. Identify and investigate any discrepancies or irregularities.

**Tax Compliance**: Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, including VAT, GST, and income tax. Stay informed about changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws.

**Budgeting and Forecasting**: Support the budgeting process by gathering financial data, preparing forecasts, and analyzing variances. Assist in developing financial plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.

**Audit Support**: Coordinate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations. Address any audit findings and implement recommendations as needed.

**General Ledger Maintenance**:Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of entries. Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
