AVES is a vibrant and creative space dedicated to nurturing artistic talents in the community. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Guitar Teacher to join our team and inspire students of all ages to develop their musical skills.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Teach Guitar Classes**:
- Conduct guitar lessons for students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
- Provide both group and one-on-one instruction.
**Develop Lesson Plans**:
- Create comprehensive lesson plans that include music theory, practical skills, and performance techniques.
- Select appropriate teaching materials and resources.
**Student Assessment**:
- Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for recitals, exams, and competitions.
**Engagement and Motivation**:
- Encourage and motivate students to reach their musical goals.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
**Home Classes**:
- Offer personalized at-home guitar lessons for students who prefer learning in the comfort of their own homes.
**Event Participation**:
- Organize and participate in recitals, concerts, and other musical events at AVES Art Cafe.
**Maintain Equipment**:
- Ensure that all musical instruments and equipment are well-maintained and in good working condition.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a guitar teacher or instructor.
- Proficiency in playing the guitar and a strong understanding of music theory.
- Ability to teach various guitar styles and genres.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching music.
- Flexibility to conduct both in-person and at-home classes.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Degree in Music or a related field.
- Experience in organizing and leading musical events or recitals.
