- An O.T. Technician is responsible for preparation of the operation theatre before a surgery.
- Receive patients and prepare the patient for surgery.
- Technical support to the surgeon during surgery, ensure all equipments are in order and provide them to the surgeon at the right time.
- Responsible for proper maintenance off all equipments and for reporting any problems to the concerned authority.
- Facilitate patient care after surgery and maintain patient Safety at all times.
- Necessary steps in disposing of wastes, sterilizing instruments and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure the OT procedures are done in accordance with the standard OT protocol.
- Assist the anesthetist during conduct of general anesthesia for preparation of GA equipment & drugs, monitor the patient and post operative extubation. He will also assist the anesthetist during GA emergencies.
- Adhere to the hospital Infection control policy outlined and report to the OT Manager in case of a breach.
- Ensure optimal utilization of OT consumables and reduce wastage of resources.

**Salary**: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
