This post offers a unique opportunity to work at ARTPARK and to contribute to disease management in the country. ARTPARK is working with the National One Health Mission at the central government, with the vector-borne disease control program at the state, and at the municipal level across multiple states and cities to support capacity building and inform policies for disease management. In this role, you will get an opportunity to work with leading disease modelling experts, engineers, and public health experts nationally and internationally in a highly motivated setting.

**Resposibilities**
- Integrate and organize health and related data from multiple sources into a form usable by computational models
- Implement statistical approaches as well as contribute to the development of robust and scalable models for the goals identified in the project
- Consolidate findings and prepare reports to effectively communicate insights with engineers and public health officials
- Work closely with data and engineering teams to develop data pipelines, data visualizations and the integration of these visualizations into a dashboard

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related quantitative scientific discipline. A master's degree is preferred.
- Comfort with applied and computational mathematics (e.g. the numerical solution of differential equations, MATLAB)
- Strong programming skills (e.g. R, Python)
- Experience in handling large data sets
- Prior experience in computational modeling is desirable.
- Prior knowledge of statistical methods/epidemiological concepts are desirable but not essential.
- Prior experience in healthcare projects would be a bonus
- A willingness to learn and the ability to implement what is learnt is vital
