A resort reservation executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the resort's reservation department. Their primary role is to ensure efficient and effective reservation processes and provide excellent customer service to guests. Here are some key responsibilities and tasks associated with the job role:
Reservation Management: Handle all aspects of the reservation process, including receiving and processing reservation inquiries, managing room availability, confirming bookings, and maintaining accurate records of reservations.

Customer Service: Interact with guests and provide assistance in making reservations, answering inquiries about room rates, amenities, and resort facilities. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Sales and Upselling: Promote resort services, packages, and upgrades to guests, aiming to maximize revenue. Upsell additional amenities, such as spa treatments, dining options, or recreational activities, to enhance the guest experience and increase resort revenue.

Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with other departments within the resort, such as front office, housekeeping, and sales, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Coordinate special requests, group bookings, and room assignments as needed.

Reservation System Management: Utilize reservation management software or property management systems to handle reservations, manage availability, update rates, and generate reports. Ensure accuracy and reliability of data and troubleshoot any technical issues.

Financial Administration: Handle payment processing, including collecting deposits, processing credit card transactions, and generating invoices. Monitor and reconcile financial records related to reservations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting procedures.

Team Management: Supervise and train reservation staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. Monitor performance, provide feedback, and address any performance or behavioral issues.

Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments to make informed decisions about rates, promotions, and packages. Recommend strategies to optimize occupancy rates and revenue.

Reservation Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce reservation policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and legal requirements. Regularly review and update policies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on reservation metrics, such as occupancy rates, revenue generated, and booking patterns. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Overall, the resort reservation executive plays a crucial role in managing the reservation department, ensuring a seamless booking process, and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the overall guest experience at the resort.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
