As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will help us enhance arrivia’s corporate and product security posture by hardening our system boundaries and help to keep us a few steps ahead of the bad guys. You will select, build, and advance tooling to enable our workforce and services to operate in an efficient and secure manner. You will be the advocate of these best practices to foster a culture of security, mentor less experienced information security staff, and act as a force-multiplier within the organization.

**What you’ll do**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
- 2+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
- 2+ years experience leading technical projects.
- Broad knowledge of Microsoft Azure Technologies (IaaS, PaaS, Security).
- In-depth understanding of cloud architecture styles and design patterns.
- Proven experience in developing cloud migration strategies, defining migration roadmaps, and providing accurate estimates.
- Proficiency with Azure Front Door/WAF, Cloud Adoption Framework, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, PowerShell DSC, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Site Recovery.
- Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud Platform (Security, Firewalls, RedisCache, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights, SQL Server, Sql DB, Load-Balancers)
- Hands-on experience in developing and deploying Cloud Native Applications utilizing Azure PaaS Capabilities such as App Services Plans, Key Vault, SQL Azure DB, Azure Functions, Containers, Azure Service Fabric, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
- Familiarity with claims-based authentication standards (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-based Access Control (RBAC).
- Understanding of network concepts including VNET, subnet, NSG, VPN, ExpressRoute, and firewall.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, while working with diverse audiences including highly technical IT professionals, developers, architects, and executive account management

**Who you are**:

- Familiarity with Azure Landing Zone, AKS Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure API Management, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
- Drive architecture and technical discussion to lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions scale, performance, agility, HA/DR considerations
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with ARM Templates or Terraform: Experienced in utilizing Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform for automating cloud infrastructure provisioning and ensuring consistency, repeatability, and scalability.
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages: C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines and Automated Testing: Skilled in setting up Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, implementing automated testing strategies, and deploying software efficiently.
- Azure Service Fabric and VM Management: Demonstrated expertise in managing Service Fabric and virtual machines (VMs) within Azure infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Azure CLI.
- Certification in Microsoft and other Cloud Technologies.
