**_Assistant Manager, Record to Report_**

**_ In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out general accounting operations and executing transactions of assigned financial accounts. The duties include maintaining the general ledger, record intercompany loans, Preparing reclass entries, and timely month-end close process and procedures in accordance with GAAP, preparing the monthly consolidation process of foreign subsidiaries and perform General Ledger account analysis. The accountant should possess thorough knowledge of Accounting Principles and practices, and ensure accurate, effective and efficient processes in accordance with established internal controls.

**_Responsibilities_**:
**_ _**

**_Responsible for performance of the R2R Team which handles 80-85% of all R2R functions for the real estate client. _**

**_This role will be responsible for successful transition of the process and responsible for setting it up FTR (First Time Right) _**

**_Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the R2R processes, complete know how and understanding of the value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference. _**

**_Manage and ensure that R2R processes meet expectations and produce desired outcomes._**

**_Supporting Clients (Property Managers) on monthly reporting functions for Record to Report related activities related to various properties under his portfolio._**
**_ _**

**_Supporting property Controllers on monthly financials, JE's, Budgets for properties under his purview _**

**_Processes wire transfers, ACH etc. as per the guidance from Client (F.A. Supervisor)_**

**_Processes invoices, questionnaires, scans checks, lease abstracts & tenant escalations._**
**_ _**
**_Share the final outputs for review and approvals with client. _**

**_Managing Security processing for all tenants; deposits & refunds_**

**_ _**

**_Preparing reclass entries based on account analysis of properties._**

**_ _**

**_Preparing reversal of prior period accruals based on account analysis & aged accrual analysis at property level. _**

**_Aged accrual analysis to ensure timely reversal of accruals which are not valid as per business policy._**

**_ _**

**_Pro-active inter group follow-ups and communication for resolution of open items._**

**_ _**

**_Ensuring timely close post reconciliation of fixed asset clearing & cost in progress accounts_**

**_ _**

**_Preparation of GL Schedules / Reconciliation_**

**_ _**

**_Monthly, quarterly, annual roll forwards & internal reporting._**

**_ _**

**_Ensure all close procedures are performed accurately._**

**_ _**

**_Ensure the accounting systems are performing as designed to meet responsibilities and controls maintained._**

**_ _**

**_Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all reports delivered for all entities and at the consolidated level._**

**_Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information._**

**_Independently work to resolve discrepancies with clients and departments or individuals throughout the firm._**
