**The Purpose of This Role**

**The Value You Deliver**
- Working closely with our business and technology partners and delivering solutions having direct revenue impact and helping operations team achieve efficiency and operational excellence.
- Designing and implementing technology solutions for the Capital Markets business
- Working closely with the business function owners in focused scrum team. This would involve working independently to deliver solutions in an agile manner and providing support for the solutions delivered.

- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Mine and analyze data from company databases or vendor data to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation and other business outcomes.
- Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

**Technical / Behavioral**
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- 2-4+ years of hands-on experience in statistical computer languages such as Python & SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness. Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights
- Good to have Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis etc.
- Hands-on experience on Unix/Linux
- Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using Tableau or Power BI etc.
- Knowledge of cloud and micro-service architecture would be plus and deploying the model to any cloud technology
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
- Good communication skills
- Team player

**The Skills that are good to Have for this role**
- Knowledge of Capital Markets and Prime Brokerage domains

**The Expertise We’re Looking For**
- 8-10 years of IT Experience with 2-4+ years of relevant experience in Data Science related field
Or
- 4-5+ years of Data Science/Analytics experience
- Engineering Graduate/CS graduate/MCA equivalent
- PG Degree in Data Science or Analytics field would be an added advantage.

**Location**: Chennai

**Shift timings**: 11:00 am - 8:00pm
