Boiler Operator

**Operates and adjusts high pressure gas, oil, and coal fired boilers in the steam generating plant.**:

- **Maintains maximum boiler efficiency by adjusting, reading, and interpreting gauges, indicators, and steam flow meters.**

**Maintains oil heaters, pumps, oil storage facilities, and oil unloading equipment.**

**Operates steam plant as situation warrants on natural gas, oil, or coal.**

**Observes boiler plant operations through use of electronic or pneumatic controls, pressure gauges, and safety devices.**

**Supervises or performs the chemical testing and treatment of boiler feed water.**

**Maintains various records and reports relative to steam plant operations.**

**Exercises supervision over employees allocated to the class of Boiler Operator I.**

**Makes regular checks of plant equipment and makes adjustments, repairs, and services equipment as required.**

**Salary**: ₹16,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
