RISK & Controls Stewards support the strategy and implementation of risk for LSEG across our operational division. this considers all aspect and impacts of risk that could impact the execution of our goal of delivering high quality, low latency data to customers

**Role profile**:
**ROLE SUMMARY**:

- This role will evolve the maturity of Financial Content Operations Risk policy adoption in preparation for DORA and future regulatory requirements whilst meeting wider LSEG Risk policy obligations.
- Translating business or organisational risk requirements into actionable specifications for FCO and relevant partners.
- Aligning to common standards around data risk and risk management strategies ensuring that standard methodologies are in place to present information about FCO real-estate (data, databases, data flows, sources, and processes) to any interested parties.
- Support the Operations user community through use of domain specific risk expertise to ensure that all mechanisms to assess and report the progress of FCO risk management adoption.

**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**:

- Working with Risk Champions, 2LOD, Content Operations and Managers to implement LSEG Group Operating Policies.
- Prepare for annual resiliency business case submissions and working with partner organisations to ensure action plans are in motion.
- Analysing service incidents, outages, process failures and other risk events to build control mechanisms.
- Report on status of maturity on Risk curve through activities such as control assurance definition and testing
- Simplify the overall support effort for FCO risk management functions.

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**:

- Evidence of strong understanding for at least 2 datasets inside FCO
- Present information in logical, concise, contextual way which engages all partner groups.
- SQL, Python, PowerBI skills desirable
- Demonstrated passion and understanding of what Risk means for an operational organisation
- Proven skills for influencing others and building strong partnerships with key personnel at all levels of the group
- Knowledge of risk and controls processes.
