Risen International is seeking a dedicated and experienced Overseas Student Counselor to join our team. As an Overseas Student Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and assisting international students through the process of studying abroad. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive support and guidance to students, ensuring a smooth transition into their academic journey in foreign countries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personalized counseling to international students regarding study abroad programs, admission requirements, visa procedures, and related documentation.
- Assist students in selecting suitable academic institutions and courses based on their educational background, interests, and career aspirations.
- Conduct informational sessions and workshops to educate students about various study destinations, cultural differences, and academic expectations.
- Liaise with educational institutions, immigration authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with visa regulations and enrollment procedures.
- Offer guidance on financial planning, scholarship opportunities, and budget management to help students manage their expenses effectively.
- Act as a point of contact for students throughout their study abroad journey, addressing any concerns or challenges they may encounter and providing timely support and solutions.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration policies, academic requirements, and industry trends to provide accurate and up-to-date information to students.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to develop and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall student experience and satisfaction.
- Participate in professional development activities, training sessions, and conferences to enhance counseling skills and stay abreast of best practices in the field.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, International Relations, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in student counseling, preferably in the field of international education or study abroad programs.
- Strong understanding of higher education systems, visa regulations, and academic requirements in various countries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant tools.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
