We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Chartered Accounting organization as an Internal Auditor. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, internal audit methodologies, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the annual audit plan for the organization in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of internal control weaknesses and recommend appropriate remediation strategies.
- Plan and perform audit procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of our internal controls and governance processes.
- Document audit findings and recommendations for remediation, and present results to senior management and audit committee.
- Work with management to develop action plans to address identified deficiencies and monitor progress.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations for various stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and external auditors.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- 0 to 1 years of relevant experience in internal audit.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, internal audit methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software tools.
