**Job Description**:
As an intern Data Scientist in HDD IIoT and Big Data Analytics team, you will be part of a team that develops and maintains analytics/machine learning solutions and also does embedded firmware to support the optimization of HDD product/process. Key responsibilities include:

- Introducing and testing new analytic ideas/ML algorithms
- Undertake data pipeline building, data preprocessing and analyze large amount of data to discover patterns
- Develop/maintain innovative and implementable analytic solutions
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in ML/Deep Learning modeling and algorithmic optimization (python preferred)
- Proficient in Python and C++ programming
- Good understanding of statistics and linear algebra
- Committed and ability to deliver results with tight schedule
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
