Horticulture Technician

A horticultural technician's job description includes a variety of tasks, such as:
2-Maintaining plants: Transplanting, installing, and pruning plants, and analyzing their watering requirements.
3-Maintaining landscapes: Building landscapes, maintaining outdoor properties, and caring for turf grass and golf courses
4-Managing irrigation systems: Installing and maintaining irrigation systems, and performing field diagnostics.
5-Managing pests and diseases: Controlling plant pests and diseases using integrated pest management techniques, and scouting for insects, diseases, and weeds.
6-Maintaining equipment: Making minor repairs to equipment and performing preventative maintenance.
7-Keeping records: Keeping records and documentation of activities
8-Training: Providing training to lower level employees, temporary or contract workers.
9-Participating in projects: Participating in horticultural projects and experiments.
10-Staying current: Keeping abreast of new developments in the horticultural field.
Horticultural technicians may work in a variety of settings, including educational, research, corporate, and commercial settings.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
