**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Keyword Research and Strategy Development**:

- Develop and implement SEO strategies that align with the brand's goals, focusing on both short-term wins and long-term growth.

**2. On-Page Optimization**:

- Optimize website content, including blogs, articles, landing pages, and product descriptions, with targeted keywords while ensuring adherence to industry standards for health-related content.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure that all written content is SEO-friendly.
- Enhance the website’s user experience by optimizing page speed, mobile-friendliness, and overall site structure.

**3. Off-Page SEO and Link Building**:

- Build and manage a robust backlink profile through outreach, partnerships, and content promotion, focusing on high-authority sites
- Engage in guest blogging, influencer outreach, and content syndication to increase the brand's online presence and authority.

**4. Content Strategy and Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the content team to develop a content calendar that targets relevant health and wellness keywords and topics.
- Provide SEO guidance during the content creation process, ensuring all content is optimized for search engines while remaining accurate and compliant with health information standards.

**5. Analytics and Reporting**:

- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of SEO efforts using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to continuously improve organic search performance.
- Stay informed about the latest updates in search engine algorithms, SEO best practices, and trends in the health and wellness industry.
- Implement changes to the SEO strategy as necessary to maintain and improve search rankings.

**6. Compliance and Ethical SEO Practices**:

- Ensure that all SEO practices comply with Google’s guidelines and ethical standards.
- Stay updated on regulations and guidelines related to health content, ensuring that all SEO activities are conducted responsibly and within legal parameters.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, preferably within the FMCG/Health and wellness industry.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
- Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress.
- Experience with keyword research, content optimization, link building, and technical SEO.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, draws insights, and makes data-driven decisions.
- Experience in local SEO and managing online directories.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
