Job Title: IT Executive
Location: Raipur
Reports To: IT Manager/IT Director
Job Overview:
The IT Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of all hardware, software, and networks. The role includes troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with IT-related projects, and supporting the overall IT strategy and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide first-level technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize disruptions.
Assist in troubleshooting and repairing IT equipment (computers, printers, network devices, etc.).
System & Network Administration:
Manage and maintain company servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
Monitor system performance, ensure backups are performed regularly, and optimize network performance.
Software & Hardware Installation:
Ensure that all software is up-to-date and aligned with company requirements.
IT Security:
Implement and monitor security measures to protect the company’s IT assets.
Ensure the company’s data is secured and assist with managing antivirus software, firewalls, and data encryption.
User Support & Training:
Assist employees with IT-related issues, provide training on new systems, and ensure all team members are proficient in using the available tools.
Maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls on systems.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of system configurations, incidents, and troubleshooting steps.
Prepare regular IT reports and status updates for management.
Vendor Management:
Assist with evaluating, selecting, and managing relationships with IT service providers and vendors.
Monitor the performance of external IT vendors and services, ensuring they meet contractual obligations.
Project Assistance:
Assist in the planning, implementation, and management of IT-related projects, such as system upgrades or new technology implementations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience in IT support, network management, or system administration (1-2 years preferred).
Strong understanding of hardware, software, networking, and IT security.
Experience with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and IT tools.
**Skills**:Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for user support and collaboration.
Knowledge of IT troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, etc.) and systems management.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position
