**Qualification**
- Bachelor’s degree in food or Dairy or Fisheries or Oil Technology or Biotechnology or Agriculture or Veterinary Sciences or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Chemistry or Hotel management or Catering technology from a recognised university.
- Successful completion of Accredited Lead Auditor course in Food Safety Management System (e.g., ISO 22000 Lead Auditor).
- Knowledge of food safety laws, regulations, and standards, particularly those set by the FSSAI.
- Experience in food safety auditing, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance in the food industry.
- Sector specific knowledge of hygienic and sanitary practices, processing techniques, hazards identification and analysis and control and knowledge of contaminants and allergens
- Work experience of two years with a minimum of ten audits carried out.
**Additional Skills**:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
**Working Conditions**:
- Fieldwork required, including visits to food establishments for audits and inspections.
- Involve travel within the assigned region or jurisdiction.
- Work hours may vary, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate business hours of food establishments being audited.
