Blasting Foreman

**Job Role**:Blasting Foreman**
**Experience : 5 - 10 Years**

**Purpose**: Blasting Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of blasting operations at a construction site, quarry, or mining operation. They are responsible for ensuring that blasting activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations and project requirements.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Safety Leadership**: Provide strong leadership in safety by enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring that all blasting activities are carried out in a safe manner.

2. **Blasting Planning**: Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and project managers to develop blasting plans. This includes determining the type and quantity of explosives needed, designing blast patterns, and establishing safety zones.

3. **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure that all blasting activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards.

4. **Equipment Management**:Supervise the maintenance and operation of drilling and blasting equipment, ensuring that equipment is in good working condition and properly calibrated.

5. **Site Preparation**:Oversee the preparation of blast sites, including drilling holes, loading explosives, and connecting detonation systems.

6. **Environmental Responsibility**: Implement measures to minimize the environmental impact of blasting operations, such as dust control and vibration monitoring.

7. **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of blasting activities, including blast plans, quantities of explosives used, and blast performance data.

**Operations Skills**:

- Able to organize mining machines in an orderly and safe manner.
- Good communication skills and Knowledge of computer are required.
- Team work and co-ordination with colleagues.
- Follow the safety regulations for himself, others & machineries.

**Salary**: ₹66,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
