**Position Description**:

- Working knowledge on installation, configuration and administration, documentation of Commvault v11
- Working knowledge on installation, configuration and administration, documentation of Backup Exec
- L2 skills in Data Domain / Netapp storage devices - Installation, configuration and administration, documentation.
- Understanding of ITSM processes
- Key Skill: - CommVault v11, Backup Exec, & Data Domain.
- Installing and configuring Commvault client on UNIX, Windows and Linux environments
- Installing and configuring Commvault Application agent and administration of MS SQL, Oracle & NDMP.
- Performing service pack upgrade on Commvault Master server, Media Aent and Clients.
- Migrate Backup Exec to Commvault v11
- Configuring Storage Policy, Schedule Policy, Tape library & Disk Library.
- Working acknowledge on Commvault Deduplication Database.
- Working acknowledge on Tape Library Management.
- Work on Client - Server architecture for one - to - one and one to many connections.
- Design complete Backup, Restore strategy. Configuration of Backups - Full \ / Incremental \ / Synthetic Full and Troubleshooting.
- Audit Backup Policies and environments to ensure integrity of B & R activities.
- Working acknowledge on Data Domain
- Provision VTL, Media as per work request Report and manage storage and backup capacity Proficiency in at least one of the following operating systems Windows or Linux Edit and create new documentation as per with existing standards Work with Storage Architects to bring new capabilities into the support team.
