Job Purpose

The Middle Management-Sourcing & Logistics - Indirect Procurement will assist with the implementation of the overall sourcing and logistics strategy for Indirect function in order to support the organization with the sourcing and logistics of all raw materials, parts supplies, consumables and equipment in order to support business requirements. The incumbent will carry out the order management process, inventory management, vendor management and digitization initiatives. He/ she will ensure effective management of the team by supporting coaching, training and process improvements to increase operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing of Indirect Spend Categories.
- Floating RFQ’s, Comparison, Market Check, Estimations, Negotiation, drive the preparation of proposal.
- Having exposure on consumables, tools, machine spares.
- Basic Knowledge in service agreements, cost working in fabrications, constructions / contracts & SAP, IT procurements (Hardware & Software), Marketing Spends (Event Costing, Media, Advertising) Manpower acquisitions etc.
- Supplier evaluation, selection, vendor development set up of ongoing performance management, rate & manage the performance of suppliers, ensure supplier performance of all contracts.
- Coordinate with the stakeholders to understand their requirements & process them in the given time frame.
- Perform spend & market analysis to identify the best available market price for the ongoing project/ service.
- Responsible for savings targets, timely deliveries & customer satisfaction within the contractual SLA’s/ KPI’s.
- Assist in the execution of e-sourcing & process adherence.
- Work across a variety of categories so will need to demonstrate a broad range of Indirect category knowledge.
- Need to travel between plants based on requirements.
- Should have a good track record of integrity & value systems.
- Experience in the Auto Sector will be an added advantage.
