- Welcome patients, visitors, and staff members in a friendly and professional manner. Provide them with necessary information and directions, ensuring a positive first impression of the healthcare facility._
- **Appointment Scheduling**:_
- **Registration and Check-in**:_
- Collect and verify patient information, including personal details and medical history, ensuring accurate and complete records. Efficiently handle patient registration and check-in procedures, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to relevant privacy regulations._
- **Billing and Payment Processing**:_
- Assist in generating invoices, collecting payments, and issuing receipts. Coordinate with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely billing procedures._
- **Medical Records Management**:_
- Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records, both electronic and physical, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations. Retrieve and file medical records as needed._
- **Communication and Coordination**:_
- Serve as a point of contact between patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members. Relay messages, handle inquiries, and facilitate effective communication within the healthcare facility._
- **Administrative Support**:_
- Provide general administrative support, including managing office supplies, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area, and assisting with other clerical tasks as required._
- **Problem Resolution**:_
- Handle patient complaints, conflicts, or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner, aiming for satisfactory resolutions. Escalate complex or serious issues to the appropriate personnel._
- **Compliance and Safety**:_
- Adhere to relevant healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and safety protocols. Stay updated with industry guidelines and best practices to ensure compliance in all front office operations._
- **Qualifications and Skills**:_
- _High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional certification or training in healthcare administration is a plus._
- _Proven experience as a front office executive, receptionist, or similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting._
- _Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service._
- _Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail._
