As a VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Programmer cum Designer, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs to operate VMC machines efficiently. Additionally, you will utilize your design skills to develop innovative solutions and create 3D models for machining parts.

**Responsibilities**:
CNC Programming: Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for VMC machines based on engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements.

Tool Selection: Identify appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling setups required for each machining operation.

Machining Optimization: Analyze and improve machining processes to increase productivity, reduce cycle times, and enhance overall efficiency.

Machine Setup: Set up VMC machines, including loading programs, selecting appropriate workholding devices, and verifying machine settings.

Quality Control: Perform regular inspections of machined parts to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve programming or machining issues to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, operators, and production personnel, to ensure smooth production flow and effective communication.

Design and Modeling: Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create 3D models of parts, assemblies, and tooling components, considering manufacturing constraints and best practices.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, machining techniques, and programming advancements to propose and implement process improvements.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of programs, tooling specifications, and design files for future reference.

**Requirements**:
Education: A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: Previous experience as a VMC programmer and designer is required, preferably in a manufacturing or machining environment.

Programming Skills: Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code) and experience with CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM) is essential.

Design Skills: Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and design is necessary.

Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and machining parameters is required.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot programming and machining issues effectively and propose solutions in a timely manner.

Attention to Detail: A keen eye for accuracy and a commitment to producing high-quality parts within tight tolerances.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Time Management: Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
