Roles & Responsibility:
Create, analyze, negotiate, and execute an array of contracts for various transactions
Build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and other business connections
Present contract information to relevant parties both Internally and Externally including Coordination with the finance department to ensure correct billing and collection of contractual revenues.
Troubleshoot contract-related problems, such as breach of contract
Identifies potential improvements to existing terms & conditions in the contracts.
Prepares reports on the status of contracts for management for Higher Management.
Assist with the employer's compliance with mandatory standards
Manage all Contracts and Commercial aspects of the Project, in liaison with the Project Director/Manager
Should be Well versed in contracting strategies, contract management of EPC projects
Should have market intelligence on local rates, costing analysis for all kinds of civil works / structure fabrication & erection, E&I works etc.,
Thorough knowledge of contract laws, risk analysis, cost estimation, estimation of claims / variances etc.,
Report and forecast Subcontract cost overruns and subcontract request for Extension of Time (claims, change order, variation request, and quantity increase)
Anticipate, report with mitigation measures to Project Management team on major contractual and commercial risks, Contractor or vendor milestones / deliverables
Handling all Contractual matters/issues with Subcontractors, vendors and Client as per project needs
Closely work with the project team members in the identification, negotiation and resolution of claims with Vendors and Subcontractors
Ensure strict compliance to Subcontract contractual terms
Prepare all Contractual and Commercial correspondence
Handling Variation Orders & Dispute resolution with supplier, vendors and Subcontractors
Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies
Manage the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending
Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
Required Desired details
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required, MBA would be more preferred
Minimum of 12 to 15 years progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation & Procure management
Robust skills in SAP-MM Module & Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access MS Project.
Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
Strong contract modeling software skills
Ability to meet project objectives within designated constraints
Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
Strong project management and leadership skills
Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
**Salary**: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
