As the Cloth Stock In-Charge (Fabric & Trims), your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee the stock of fabrics and trims in a clothing manufacturing or retail company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company has an adequate supply of materials to meet production demands and fulfill customer orders. Your role will involve inventory management, coordination with suppliers, and collaborating with various departments within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:Monitor and maintain stock levels of fabrics and trims to meet production requirements.
Regularly update inventory records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.
Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts or overstocks.

Procurement and Supplier Management:Collaborate with the procurement team to identify and source reliable fabric and trim suppliers.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing.
Place purchase orders for fabrics and trims based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
Monitor supplier performance, including delivery times, quality of materials, and adherence to specifications.

Quality Assurance:Conduct quality inspections of incoming fabrics and trims to ensure they meet the required standards.
Identify and address any quality issues or non-conformities with suppliers.
Work closely with the quality control team to resolve any fabric or trim-related quality concerns.

Collaboration and Coordination:Liaise with the production team to understand their fabric and trim requirements.
Coordinate with the design and development team to ensure timely availability of materials for sampling and prototyping.
Communicate effectively with various internal stakeholders to provide updates on stock availability and lead times.

Reporting and Analysis:Prepare regular reports on stock levels, consumption patterns, and procurement activities.
Analyze data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and improve cost-efficiency.
Provide inputs and recommendations for strategic decision-making related to fabric and trim sourcing.

Qualifications and Skills:

- A bachelor's degree in têxtile management, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fabric and trim inventory management within the clothing industry.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and têxtile production processes.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficient in inventory management software and tools.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards.
