Ø Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Ø Responsible for managing warehouse processes such as inbound, inventory management and outbound operations.
Ø Analyse reports such as quality complaints, pilferages etc. to drive improvements. - Manage vendor relationship to ensure smooth supply of goods.
Ø Drive improvement projects such as Kaizen, 5s and safety improvement projects.
Ø Manage effectively the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and team through the operational team leaders and area managers.
Ø Drive RCA/quality Culture throughout the team.
Ø Support the development of the Operational Team via coaching and mentoring.
Ø Manage, motivate, hire & train and continually develop the warehouse team.
Ø Responsible for the security of all warehouse assets and infrastructure.
Ø Manage the returns to the Warehouse and ensure items are dealt with promptly and returned to stock/supplier.
Ø Maintain regular communication with last mile managers to update on any supply challenges.
Ø Follow up with stock controllers to ensure that stock movements and stock keeping standards are maintained in line with company guidelines
Ø Responsible for investigating stock discrepancies, including negatives, unfound and sold out, and reporting the information to relevant managers including the finance team.
Ø Drive stock takes at regular frequency and report on results.
Ø Ensure the highest operational standards are always deployed on floor.
Ø Responsible for maintaining the stock levels and re-ordering of all products to ensure 100% fill rate.
Ø Responsible for maintaining and re-ordering of required consumables to enable smooth operations.
Ø Ensure the warehouse is compliant with current Health and Safety regulations and that the warehouse team is trained appropriately.
Ø Regularly appraise team members and carry annual performance review at the communicated time. (Basis HR Department Communication).
Ø Manage vendor relationship with all local vendors to ensure smooth supply.
Ø Maintain SLA/ KPI as per SOP.
**Technical / Functional Competency**:
- 1. Good knowledge of Warehouse operations
2. Experience of 3PL warehousing (Automobile/Electronics) will get preference.
3. Demand & Supply Chain Planning, Strategic & tactical Planning
4. Knowledge of WMS /SAP TMS platform, Inventory & Distribution Control, Training & Quality Process, Implementation of Projects.
5. Presentation & Proposals, Contract /Rate finalization.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
