**Job Title: Housekeeping Executive**
**Job Summary**: The Housekeeping Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing all housekeeping operations within the organization. This role involves ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness throughout the premises. The Housekeeping Executive will lead and train housekeeping staff, implement effective cleaning schedules, and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Supervise Housekeeping Staff**:
- Manage and oversee daily housekeeping operations.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate housekeeping staff.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and provide feedback.
- **Quality Control**:
- Ensure that cleaning standards are consistently met across all areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of Rest Rooms, Rest Areas, Office Areas and facilities.
- Address and resolve any cleanliness or maintenance issues promptly.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Order and restock supplies as needed while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of all housekeeping equipment.
- **Scheduling**:
- Create and manage housekeeping schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Coordinate with other departments to align housekeeping efforts with overall operational goals.
- **Policy Implementation**:
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and staff training.
- **Guest Interaction**:
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests regarding housekeeping services.
- Handle guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- **Administrative Tasks**:
- Prepare reports on housekeeping operations, staff performance, and inventory usage.
- Assist with budget preparation and cost control initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks as needed.
