**Roles and Responsibilities**

To ensure all infrastructure facilities and process support to Weld Shop production shop in order to achievebest productivity, day by day improved quality and 100% safety thru safe, reliable & robust process designand also to ensure successful execution of new models and improvement projects in Weld Shop.RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Timely Execution of new models in Weld Shop to fulfil the business plan requirements.

1.1) Process design

1.2) Planning and execution of facility and infrastructure

1.3) Conducting Pre production Trials

1.4) Manpower planning

1.5) Preparation of SOP & multi model part identification

2) Execution of ECN's in Mass Production (Weld Shop)

2.1) Implementation of ECN's.

2.2) Process Flow Updation basis ECN

2.3) Failure Modes (PFMEA) Updation basis ECN

2.4) Standard Operating procedures (SOP) Updation basis ECN

2.5) Work Content Updation basis ECN

2.6) Consumable Norms Updation

2.7) Infrastructure development

2.8) Observation Closure

3) Productivity Improvement through Waste Elimination & Automation

3.1) Work content balancing and reduction in weld Shop model wise

3.2) Monitoring stage wise manpower utilization

3.3) Audit of stage wise manpower deployment

3.4) Identify bottleneck and do improvements

3.5) SMS reduction in Weld Shop

3.6) Variable Volume manpower setup preparation and deployment

4) Execution of CAPEX items as per plan in Weld Shop.

4.1) Capacity enhancement

4.2) Capex budget planning, monitoring and execution of projects

4.3) Collection & Implementation of MP sheets.

4.4) Safety meetings and adherence to safety check sheet

4.5) Feasibility Study

4.6) Discussion & Sign off with CFT

4.7) Technical Documentation preparation

4.8) RFQ to Supplier & Commercial Approval

4.9) Execution

4.10) Installation & Commissioning

5) Execution of Shining projects and kaizens for continual improvement

5.1) Feasibility Study

5.2) Discussion & Sign off with CFT

6) Operating cost reduction Initiatives

6.1) Freezing & updating Consumable norms

6.2) Support in Finalising Budget for Consumables

6.3) Plan & Execute Projects for consumable cost reduction.

7) Strengthen Frame assembly shop process for improvement in quality rate and reduction in defects

7.1) Potential Failure Mode & Effect Analysis of all the process

7.2) Providing standard operation procedure at all stages

7.3) Optimising parameters & audit of critical to quality stations

7.4) Elimination of Top warranty Phenomenon (03 Nos)
