**Job Title: Hostess in a Pub**

**Responsibilities**:
**Guest Greeting**:

- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, providing a positive first impression.
- Manage the pub's entry and ensure a smooth flow of guests.

**Reservation Management**:

- Handle reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficient table allocation.
- Maintain an organized reservation system and communicate effectively with the serving staff.

**Seating and Accommodation**:

- Escort guests to their tables, offering assistance with seating arrangements.
- Ensure the pub's seating plan is optimized for efficient service.

**Guest Communication**:

- Provide information about the pub's offerings, including daily specials and promotions.
- Communicate wait times and any relevant information to waiting guests.

**Customer Service**:

- Assist in creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy.

**Collaboration with Staff**:

- Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to manage the overall guest experience.
- Communicate special requests or preferences to the serving team.

**Queue Management**:

- Manage guest queues during peak hours, ensuring an organized and fair waiting system.
- Keep track of waiting times and update waiting guests regularly.

**Maintaining Cleanliness**:

- Keep the hostess station and waiting area clean and organized.
- Monitor and assist with overall cleanliness in the entry and waiting areas.

**Assisting with Events**:

- Support the coordination of special events or promotions hosted by the pub.
- Work with the management team to ensure events run smoothly.
