Assistant Manger

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the bookkeeping process, including journal entries, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting to management and other stakeholders
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Assist with the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Coordinate and prepare materials for audits by external auditors
- Train and supervise junior bookkeepers
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and industry best practices
- Stay abreast of new technologies and accounting software to improve efficiency and effectiveness
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
- **5+ years of Australian bookkeeping experience**:
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
**Salary**: ₹35,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Morning shift
