Looking for a K-12 performing and or visual arts Curriculum Supervisor to coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of our Music, Visual and Theatre Arts program. Job Responsibilities:
Provide inspirational and culturally relevant instructional leadership including: writing, reviewing, and editing district mastery objectives, benchmarks, unit and lesson curriculum planning, implementation and assessment
Develop and sustain performing and visual arts programs through all grade levels
Co-hiring, co
- supervising, and co-evaluating Music, Drama and performing arts leads; assisting school-based administrators in evaluating shared faculty
Evaluation of instructional materials including pedagogical texts, repertoire, drama, and theatrical materials
Creation and facilitation of departmental Professional Learning Communities to analyze and improve student learning
Collaborate with other district level coordinators and directors to implement district instructional priorities
Use of authentic data for recalibration of instruction
Promoting instrumental music instruction through the use of exemplars and culturally relevant artists
Coordination of all school and district concerts/performances/shows
Consistent outreach to families and the community regarding Art, Music and Drama education
Designing relevant professional development opportunities that are focused on student learning and engagement
Assignment of performance and visual arts’ faculty in coordination with building administrators
Participation in determining the need for additional instructional personnel
Develops community connections with musicians and artists, works with the Massachusetts Cultural Council to develop grants for performances and workshops
Prepares short and long-range plans for increased participation in the Arts
Collaborates with Special Education and Multi-Lingual professionals to ensure music and drama participation for every student
Provides technical training including in-services, curriculum development, scheduling, program development and problem-solving
Aids in the coordination and integration of the department’s activities and offerings with those of other areas of the learning community
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Master’s Degree in relevant content area
3-5 years of teaching and administrative experience at the K-12 level
Evidence of strong leadership skills
Experience in a multi-lingual and multi-cultural learning environment
Evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills
Track record of effectively working with a team
Passion for the musical and performing arts and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment

**Salary**: ₹38,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
