**What is the work?**:

- Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand project requirements and design test cases.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute test cases based on acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of existing features and functionalities.
- Participate in the review of code changes and provide feedback on testability and potential areas of improvement.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the testing process.
- Troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Maintain and enhance the automation test framework to support scalability and maintainability.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in automation testing, particularly related to Cypress.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of testing processes and quality standards within the organization.

**What skills and experience are we looking for?**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (X years) as an Automation Tester, with a focus on Cypress.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and practices.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress or similar automation testing tools/frameworks.
- Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with other automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Protractor, or Puppeteer.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with performance testing and load testing tools.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
- Certifications related to software testing or automation (e.g., ISTQB, Cypress Certification) would be a plus.
