Introduction:
What will you be doing?
- Ownership of the Architectural vision for Mortgages
- Providing the technical perspective in discussions with the business
- Driving the creation of Architecture artefacts to agreed timelines
- Ensuring any solutions align to the overall Barclays UK technical strategy

What we’re looking for:

- Experience of shaping and defining solutions across disparate technologies that enable resolution of a complex business issue with an appropriate and cost effective technology based solution.
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders to influence their thinking about what is possible through technology innovation.
- Experience of working in a highly regulated environment.
- Educational degree - B. Tech/BE

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Application/Infrastructure/Enterprise Architect training and certification, e.g. TOGAF.
- Exposure to API design strategies both for internal and external customer usage.
- Awareness of software development consisting of some of the following languages and technologies - Rest APIs (Java,.Net), Cloud AWS, Salesforce, Kafka, aPaaS, Containers, Message Queues / Bus, databases (Oracle / DB2 / SQL), Application and Service Security, Mainframe / COBOL
