Stp Operator

The STP Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the equipment and processes involved in the treatment of wastewater at a sewage treatment plant. They play a crucial role in ensuring that the treated effluent meets environmental regulations and safety standards before being discharged into the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plant Operations: Operate and monitor the various components of the sewage treatment plant, including pumps, valves, screens, clarifiers, aeration tanks, digesters, and disinfection systems.
- Process Control: Adjust and optimize treatment processes by monitoring and controlling factors such as flow rates, chemical dosages, dissolved oxygen levels, and sludge levels to ensure efficient and effective treatment.
- Sample Collection and Testing: Collect and analyze samples of influent, effluent, and process streams to monitor treatment effectiveness and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubricating equipment, cleaning tanks and filters, and inspecting systems for potential issues or malfunctions.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, process upsets, or operational issues, and coordinate with maintenance personnel for more complex repairs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs and records of plant operations, process data, maintenance activities, and any incidents or deviations from normal operations.
- Compliance: Ensure that the plant operates in compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, as well as permit requirements and safety protocols.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Implement and follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and properly handle and dispose of chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Training and Supervision: Provide training and guidance to less experienced operators, and may supervise a team of operators in larger facilities.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with new technologies, techniques, and best practices in wastewater treatment through ongoing training and professional development.

Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
