**Opportunity**:
This internship provides the possibility of transitioning into a full-time position, depending on your performance.
**Position Overview**:
As a Market Research Intern, you'll play a key role in supporting the team by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to help the company better understand its target audience, competitors, and market trends.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Data Collection: Contribute to gathering market information from primary and secondary sources, including surveys, interviews, reports, and online databases. Support the design and distribution of surveys and questionnaires.
- Data Analysis: Clean, compile, and analyze data using tools such as Excel, SPSS, or R. Interpret both quantitative and qualitative data to identify market trends and understand consumer preferences.
- Report Preparation: Assist in preparing reports, charts, and presentations that summarize research findings. Share insights with supervisors and stakeholders to support business decisions.
- Competitor Analysis: Help evaluate the competitive landscape by tracking competitors' activities, products, pricing, and market positioning. Compile comparative studies to identify market gaps or opportunities.
- Industry Research: Conduct research on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements affecting the company’s operations. Stay informed about market dynamics to provide insightful recommendations.
- Support Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and business development teams to offer data-driven recommendations. Assist with testing new products or marketing strategies through focus groups or pilot programs.
**Required Skills**:
- Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze and interpret large datasets with attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Research Expertise: Proficiency in various research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative approaches. Experience with both primary and secondary data collection.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effectively presenting research findings. Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Google Sheets, SPSS, or Tableau, and a basic understanding of data visualization techniques and tools.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
