Machine Operative

Responsibilities:
1. Set up CNC machines by installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to specifications.
2. Load materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment.
3. Program the machine by entering instructions into the computer control panel.
4. Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or issues.
5. Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve problems during production to minimize downtime.
7. Inspect and measure finished products to verify conformance to specifications.
8. Record production data, such as dimensions, quantities, and materials used.
9. Collaborate with team members, including engineers and quality control personnel, to optimize production processes.
10. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

**Requirements**:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
