Ict Draftsman

**Job Overview**:
As an ICT Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics to support the design, installation, and maintenance of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure and systems. Your role involves translating engineering designs and specifications into accurate and precise drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Drawing Creation**:

- Develop detailed technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics for ICT infrastructure components, including network layouts, server racks, cable pathways, and equipment installations.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Visio, to generate 2D and 3D drawings that accurately depict dimensions, materials, and assembly processes.
- Incorporate drafting standards, symbols, and conventions to ensure consistency and clarity in drawings, and include necessary annotations, labels, and dimensions.
- **Network Design Support**:

- Assist ICT engineers and architects in designing network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, by creating detailed network diagrams and topology maps.
- Generate floor plans, elevation views, and cable routing diagrams to illustrate the placement and connectivity of network equipment, servers, switches, routers, and other ICT devices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, review design proposals, and incorporate feedback into draft designs.
- **Infrastructure Documentation**:

- Create documentation packages and technical manuals to accompany ICT infrastructure designs, including equipment lists, wiring schedules, and installation guidelines.
- Maintain and update as-built drawings, records, and documentation to reflect changes, additions, and modifications to ICT systems and infrastructure over time.
- Organize and archive drawings and documentation in a centralized repository for easy access and retrieval by project teams and stakeholders.
- **Coordination and Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with ICT engineers, architects, project managers, and technicians to ensure alignment between design drawings and project requirements.
- Participate in design review meetings and coordination sessions to identify and resolve design conflicts, coordination issues, and technical challenges.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to clarify requirements, exchange information, and address design-related issues.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct quality checks and reviews of drawings to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with drafting standards, codes, and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to address feedback, resolve discrepancies, and ensure that drawings meet project requirements and objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and deliverables by providing accurate and up-to-date drawings and graphics as needed

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of **8 years of experience in AutoCAD and REVIT (ICT Works)**.

Pay: ₹1.00 - ₹2.00 per month
